Hi, Im new here and I have a question. I hope it is not unapropriate for this community, I am trying to be healthy about this, so if its just unrealistic what Im saying here, tell me that too.

IT is about the famous lovehandles, mine would be located mostly on the backside of my body, slightly above the buttocks.
I just realized Im not sure whether that would be my hips. But the thing is, although I have a healthy weight I cannot get those handles to beat it, my bf says its part of being feminine but I think feminine should be different. Anyway, my question is how to work on those handles, since I shouldn loose weight, I hope it is still possible to reduce their size or at least make them less obvious, perhaps the area below would have to get bigger, as in more muscular, that would be my buttocks right ?

I dunno how to say this. Ok here's my figure, Im kinda slim like without a lot of curves, although I have more boobs than I care for. Its mostly the hip/bum area that is kinda slim. I have been workin on my tighs and I think they have gotten wider from musclestrength because I had never noticed them being shaped like this before, then again maybe it's just fat after all I did gain weight after being too thin. (can I say this here, Im not being pro-ana this way am I, its not my intention) So, what Im saying is, what parts of my midsection do I need to train to make the area more smoothly, so it flows together better. Now it is wider at the thighs (seen from the front) then it slims where my but should be and it goes out again where I have the lovehandles and above that it slims again and goes out where I have boobs. In my opinion there's a few too manu curves there, I think it shouldnt slim till above the lovehandles after its gone out at the tighs, you know what I mean. Maybe Im just being unreal.

I don't know what those parts of your bodies look like, so you could be delusional and seeing things that aren't really there for all I know.

But assuming that you're not delusional, get your body fat percentage read. You can do that at a gym or get a Tanita body scale. Perhaps you're overweight. Overweight as in "overfat" or having too high of a body fat percentage. It could be that you don't have a lot of muscle and need to work on developing your muscles more.

The only way to reduce the size of love handles is to lose fat. You can't target fat loss so you just have to workout to burn fat in general. Don't try to diet or anything, but if you don't have a clean diet, cleaning it up will help a lot. Consuming saturated has been shown to cause fat to form around the midsection more than usual. So if you eat stuff like fast food hamburgers, chicken nuggets, and French fries, maybe you should cut back. Doing things like going straight to water if you're a soda, juice or sweet tea drinker helps too.

tanx. I better start loosing weight then. Although also build more muscles.
